Fractal structures of oil and ink on marble fragments Ø 2–5 cm, located on a layer of marble chips. The stones are grouped into series by the type of structure pattern.
Stone and sand are two stages of one material: the monolith promises to preserve the pattern, the sand reminds of its fragility and impending decay. Porous marble absorbs oil and removes shine, leaving only the thinnest film on the surface; thus, the “eternal” and the “fleeting” coexist without contradiction.
