The experiment is carried out on thin glass located on a LED light panel: the glass serves only as an intermediate layer, completely removing the background as such and transmitting light through the structure of liquids. Due to this, the oil-ink flow is visible "from the inside" — without interference and textures of the substrate, in pure light.
